People forget things easily. One of the things they forget most often is that, in terms of our experiences, there are no blacks and whites. Things are never simply this, or that. There are no absolutes. Yet we repeatedly bind the vast breadth of our experience with simplistic terms denoting two . . . ()

I wonder if the Irish are proud that the world appears to have labelled them as drunks.St Patricks day, the patron saint of Ireland.Pretty sure he didn't become the patron saint by drinking all the time.Yet how do people, predominantly Americans, I have to say, who appear to have taken the holida . . . I dislike the term god-given. It removes all the possibilities from life. It discards your choices as meaningless. It rules out possibilities. If everything we do is at the behest of some great plan, why do we bother at all, why do we agonise about making choices? Surely they have all been . . . ()

Let's face it, one of the main barriers towards a tolerant society is that, no matter how tolerant the individuals, each and every society has a certain amount of intolerance built into it that colours everyones views. To explain, let us take into account some of the views of the "average english . . . I got my hair cut today and I'm disappointed. Not with the hair cut, but with the barbers. When I first started going there, it had a nice old, distinguished feel, with wooden cupboards etc. They've decided to modernise it. The chairs are now raised on some kind of fibreboard stage bordered by . . . ()

My job is getting shitter by the day thanks to a new scheduling system implemented by people who couldn't find their arses with both hands and a map.The last person I considered a relationship is a religious nut who has decided to let a 2000 year old book do all her thinking for her and who is un . . . Something to think about.Consider the case of adoptive parents. If for some reason you're incapable of having a child by natural means, no matter how much you want one, you have to prove to government agencies that you're capable of taking care of one and will do so properly.I agree with this, bec . . . Every day at work, I have lunch with the same girl.Force of habit I suppose. It used to be the same two, but one now works at a different site for the time being. When it was two, no one really thought anything of it.Now that it's one, all of a sudden, we must be up to something.I've had at least t . . . Darkness, Darkness

Robert Plant

Darkness, Darkness, be my pillow, Take my head and let me sleep
In the coolness of your shadow, In the silence of your deep
Darkness, darkness, hide my yearning, For the things I cannot see
Keep my mind from constant turning, To the things I cannot be
Darkness, darkness, be my blanket, cover me with the endless night
Take away the pain of knowing, fill the emptiness with light
Emptiness with light now

Darkness, darkness, long and lonesome, Is the day that brings me here
I have felt the edge of sadness, I have known the depths of fear
Darkness, darkness, be my blanket, Cover me with the endless night
Take away this pain of knowing, Fill this emptiness with light now
Emptiness with light now

Darkness, darkness, be my blanket, cover me with the endless night
Take away this pain of knowing, fill this emptiness with light now
Oh with light now.
Darkness, Darkness, be my pillow, Take my head and let me sleep
In the coolness of your shadow, In the silence of your deep
In the silence of your deep
In the - oh oh yeah
In the summer baby
come on come on come on baby...
