We talk about it because it's so changeable and provides at least five minutes of conversation devoid of the potential for a social faux pas. No one's parents ever died as a result of a cloudy day. |
| acturi May 19, 2009 07:06 AM PDT Man, I live in Colorado. Here, talking about the weather has more to do with the fact that it may change at ANY SECOND! and if you haven't checked in the last 5 minutes you may need to go outside in anything from shorts to a parka. | ||
| PaniAntosha May 6, 2009 07:06 PM PDT Grouchy miserable times lately-everyone myself included seems on edge. I joined a book discussion group online-stupidly on a book with religious subject matter. Stating an opinion led to lectures from other readers-so not what I went there for. Will know to avoid all spiritual topics in future. Also a republican friend keeps sending me links bashing Obama. Finally sent him an email saying enough already. Give the man a chance and what sore losers they seem as their eight years have ended. The weather seems safe to me at the moment as well. | ||
